Hey everyone I’m Jacob. I’m writing these Flex Seal reviews because of the great versatility Flex Seal has in many different situations. I’m a plumber by profession and Flex Seal has given me a huge advantage when working on anything plumbing related. I have been able to use it in many other ways that I’ll talk about here in my Flex Seal liquid rubber reviews.

Basically as a plumber I see lots of different problems in houses. Most people think that plumbers are only ever called when someone has really badly stopped up their toilet. That is not the case at all. Us plumbers are very versatile in the things that we can fix.

At least for myself I have fixed things from broken pipes to leaky roofs. Some time back I went to a house to fix a leaky pipe in the ceiling. When I got there I thought it was a bit odd that the ceiling wasn’t leaking anymore. The leak had occurred the night before, and it was the following morning when I went to go fix it. I couldn’t find a leak anywhere so I didn’t charge the family anything since I didn’t fix anything. A week later they called me back and said that there was in fact a leak again.

I went back to the house to investigate some more and found out that there were no leaky pipes of the sort in the ceiling. I checked all the hot water piping they had and nothing. Then it dawned on me that maybe it wasn’t the piping but perhaps the roof. The first night when they called me there was a really hard wind storm. Apparently a branch had ripped up some of the shingles on the roof. Luckily I had some Flex Seal on me and I sprayed it from inside the attic where I could see there was some water stains on the wood.

I then went outside and sprayed the same hole where the nail was missing and allowing water to run in. I told them the problem and suggested they get new shingles. It rains almost year round here so having roof leaks is a big deal. I went back about a month later to the same family because they had a leak in one of their walls. One of the pipes had a small hole in it. They had already shut off the water to the house. So I dried off the pipe with a towel and sprayed Flex Seal on it.

I asked them about their roof and they said it hadn’t leaked since and so they saw no need to pay someone to fix the roof. When they told me that I was pretty impressed that the Flex Seal was still working so great.

I have used Flex Seal on almost all my jobs now because it has such a good hold and truly does seal up leaks. I have been buying new cans ever since then. I have used this for many different things now. I’ll write about those in my other Flex Seal reviews. Hopefully this was helpful.

Hey everyone today I want to talk about another Flex Seal liquid rubber review. As a plumber I’ve been able to use Flex Seal spray in many different situations but it’s not only good for plumbing. There are many other things it’s very useful for. I was pretty surprised myself when I found out what other things I could use it for.

Like is said there are many ways a person can use Flex Seal liquid rubber spray. Most people use it for things like leaky gutters or pipes. As well I myself have used it for things like plugging holes in roofs. It has endless applications it can be used for.

I am really big into hunting and shooting guns. I try to keep my ammo and guns clean and ready for action at any time. One thing that I have used Flex Seal for is to make things more air tight to keep moisture out. Any person who owns a gun can tell you that moisture is bad for guns and ammo. I have quite a few ammo cans that I’ve bought over the years and I keep a lot of ammo in them.

Because I store ammo in my ammo cans I want to make sure I’ll be able to use it when I go shooting. On one of my ammo cans, that had over 150 rounds of shotgun shells in it, I noticed some rust forming along the rim of it. I opened it up to find that all the brass part of the shells were rusting. Where I live is very moist all year round so humidity is a problem when storing arms.

I emptied the ammo can, wiped it out and wiped off what I could of the rust off of the shotgun shells. That’s when I had a brilliant idea to use a little bit of flex seal on the inside and rim of the ammo can. I got out my Flex Seal and sprayed a later of it on the inside of the can. I then sprayed the rim both on the body and lid of the can. I went back a couple of times and sprayed more on the rims. When it was all dry I had a nice tight fit on the lid and rims of the ammo can. Now it’s air tight and no moisture gets in.

I keep my rifles in rifle socks in my safe but even so they can get tiny bits of rust on them which really bothers me. I did the same thing on my safe as I did with the ammo cans. I sprayed inside part of the door that fits into the frame. As well I sprayed what would be the door wedge area where the bars lock into place. Of course I covered the bars and moving parts with tape and made sure not to close the door. It worked great! Since then moisture doesn’t creep into my safe.
